NOTES:
 

• “Annual exam” fees include screening breast and pelvic exam, anticipatory guidance, the collection of STI screens and pap smears when indicated, ordering and review of screening mammogram and bone density when indicated.

• Labs tests -including blood work, pap cytology and tissue pathology can all be separately billed to insurance by the receiving lab. Individualized plan deductibles and co-pays still apply to lab charges. Such charges are completely separate and unrelated to Coastal Women’s Wellness.  

• Candidacy for weight loss medication initiation and maintenance is determined on an individual basis by clinical decision making and safety in mind. Payment for consultation related to these medications does not guarantee continued prescription if not appropriate.

• Telehealth services can be utilized at your convenience with Elation’s HIPAA-compliant integrated video platform, powered by Zoom, for appropriate visit types not requiring a pelvic exam. Fees are the same as in-person office visits.

• The patient portal (Elation “Passport”) is provided at your convenience for viewing of care plans and electronic handouts as well as ease of communication with the office staff regarding appointment scheduling and rescheduling, follow-up instruction or medication clarification, refill and pharmacy updates, and uploading/sending files such as lab and imaging reports. A discussion via the portal for clinical advice directly from the provider incurs a $75 charge – you will always be notified beforehand to ensure you wish to proceed as opposed to scheduling a regular office or telemed visit to address the concern instead.

• If a procedure can be added to another office visit same day, a $50 discount will be applied to the procedure fee. Must be established to have procedure booked directly.

• A card on file is required to keep your appointment reserved. Given we do not accept any payments from insurance companies, fees are fully transparent and due at the time of service. You will always be notified before a charge processes and receive a receipt after. No charges are incurred until services are rendered, but there is a fee assessed for "no-show" or late cancellation within 24 hrs. This fee is $25 for 20-40 min visits and $50 for 60-80 min visits. We respect your valuable time and appreciate the same in return.

 

Discounts: ECS staff 20% off all visits and procedures. High school and college students new gyn visits discounted to $200.
